At Clinicminds, each version update represents a new opportunity to refine workflows, remove friction, and strengthen the connection between practitioners and patients. Version 5.15 is a release we are especially excited about. It delivers meaningful improvements to documentation, enhances the patient journey, expands our API capabilities, and resolves a range of issues reported by clinics over the past few months.
Most notably, Quinn received a major upgrade.
Quinn AI Smart Summary: Documentation That Works For You
Documentation is one of the most essential parts of a consultation, yet it can pull practitioners away from the patient in front of them. Quinn AI Smart Summary changes this dynamic. Instead of simply transcribing spoken words, Quinn listens to the consultation conversation and interprets it. While you focus on your patient, Quinn fills in your structured medical record fields in real time.
The result is a complete, clinically usable summary generated automatically for you. It feels less like a tool and more like a reliable assistant who understands context, terminology, and where things belong in the medical record.
New API Capabilities That Expand What Clinics Can Build
More and more clinics are relying on connected systems. With this update, our API ecosystem becomes even more capable.
The new Booking API allows clinics to integrate their scheduling process with external tools. Whether you experiment with chatbots, voice assistants, or custom-built applications, your digital intake process can now flow directly into Clinicminds without any manual steps.
Alongside this, the new Triggers and Actions API introduces real-time automation. When something important happens within Clinicminds, such as a booking, a task update, or a status change, connected systems can respond immediately. This makes it far easier to create automated follow-ups, synchronise workflows, or link Clinicminds activity to external business systems.
Security also received improvements. You can now reset API or integration tokens directly from your settings and find more explicit guidance on how to handle these tokens safely. Updated API documentation is also available directly inside the settings screen, making it easier to work with integrations without jumping between tools.
If you are exploring automation or external connections, our team is ready to help you get started.
Improvements That Make Everyday Tasks Feel Lighter
Although the headline features get most of the attention, a great deal of care went into refining minor details that clinics deal with every day.
The patient-facing interface for contact details and medical questions received a visual update. Patients completing their forms at home will notice a cleaner, more intuitive experience. Improvements to home signing for consent forms are already underway and will be implemented soon.
The online scheduler also received attention. People often misunderstood the meaning of the first availability option. This version brings clearer wording so clinics can guide patients more confidently through the booking process.
Treatment drawings were made more practical as well. When working on a laptop or desktop, entering numerical amounts is now disabled by default. You can still enable it when needed, but it will no longer interfere with quick sketches or annotations.
For new clinics, bookable services are now enabled by default on the calendar. This approach automatically selects the correct duration, practitioner, room, and equipment. It reduces scheduling errors and helps new teams get up to speed much faster. If you are not using bookable services yet, this is a great moment to explore it.
Patients and pharmacies downloading secure attachments will now see a simple remember me option. This makes it easier to download multiple files from the same device over the course of a week without compromising safety.
We also removed the deprecated SOFORT payment method from the Stripe integration to keep everything aligned with current standards.
Fixes That Improve Stability and Reliability
This update also resolves a series of issues related to performance, forms, scheduling, and visual output. The new dashboard and task list now load more quickly. Deleted patients are handled correctly in the dashboard without causing errors. Medical questions submitted from home no longer get stuck in rare scenarios, even when settings are changed simultaneously. Scheduler reports now accurately reflect the selected date range. PDF documents no longer display certain PNG logos with a black background. Returning to Clinicminds after prolonged inactivity is now more stable. And several issues around gift cards, Bird contacts, and user selection in the scheduler have been addressed.
Each fix removes a small point of friction, contributing to a more predictable and dependable daily experience.
Moving Forward
Version 5.15 brings meaningful progress for documentation, automation, patient intake, and overall stability. Every improvement, whether big or small, is shaped by feedback from clinics that rely on Clinicminds every day.
Quinn AI Smart Summary is only the beginning of what is coming next, and we cannot wait to share more.
